The Reason Why

Project Road Warrior is introducing a robotic program named Rise of the Robots. Rise of the Robots is designed to assist participants in the growth of their knowledge of, interaction with, and self confidence that comes with the implementation of robotics in the learning development of youth.

Did you know?

1.The industrial robotics market is expected to grow by 175% over the next decade.

2.Thirty four percent of industrial robots by 2025 will be collaborative – designed to work alongside humans in factories and plants.

Rise of the Robots (ROTR)

Rise of the Robots will impact participants in education, inspiration, and motivation. ROTR will impact participants academic confidence. ROTR will be serving in communities where robotic programs are rarely provided. ROTR will provide participants with the opportunity to increase their academic confidence. Participants will develop problem solving skills, strategy development, patience, team building, and an increase in self-confidence.

Participants will be inspired by their opportunity to participate in a robotic program led by inspiring coaches. Participants will be inspired by youth who are encouraging and supportive in their goal to build a robot. ROTR is an opportunity for family and friends to participate which provides opportunity for family and friends to work together building memories of success and fun.

ROTR will provide moments of motivation to participants. Imagine a youth accomplishing the goals of taking nothing and creating something. How could they not be motivated? Also, ROTR will provide a supportive environment where teamwork, verbal support, and goal achieving is the focus.

Areas of Impact

ROTR has a process where individuals or teams organize all pieces for the robots (batteries, panels, wheels), which teaches participants listening with intent, following instructions, working in a team or individually, accountability, and responsibility.
